Our Mission
babelguides exists to make world literature available in English translation more accessible.

Based on the Babel Guides book series we offer a combination of specially-written reviews and unique updated bibliographic information.

The scope of literatures covered has been growing since 1996 when the project started and relies on contributions by professional writers, academics and translators.
